I'm afraid it happens to all teams. Hull, Saints & Leeds lost lots of boys last year. Huddersfield are in a right state at the moment. I think we may have to lower our expectations. We were superb last week in adversity but I think we all know it's going to be tough. 

They will be jealous over on Redvee, only Saints ever have injuries.

Yeah not expecting a win, wasnt before the injuries. We couldn't live with them when we had a full side out. 

This is what makes losing against Wakefield or Hull at home so galling. Win one of those and the loss against Wigan would be mitigated. 



Likely find ourselves 9th in the table on Sunday evening.

The thing is that last year Wigan went through a period mid way through the season where similar spine players were missing for a lengthy period. If my memory serves me correctly they were without Field, French and Brad O'Neil. But apart from a couple of losses (A decent win for us) they kept picking up points which still ensured that they finished top. 
I don't expect us to win this weekend. But we can't use this as an excuse. If we have to play loaded with forwards every week ike we did in the challenge cup final in 2019 then that might be good enough to still get 3 or 4 wins over the next 6 rounds in the league. 
I know it is not what we want to hear but I would be playing a similar team to the one that played against Wigan last year. 
Ratchford at centre to cover King
Thewlis brothers on the wing. 
Harthill and Powell at hooker. 
Irwin and Leyland in the halves. 
Forwards including Wood, Holroyd and maybe even Whitehead.
