Big game for us. Probably only the second game we gone in as favourites. This is the sort of game in the last few years we would get beat......So another test how we have improved.....Rapana Eseh to come in .....let's get it done......COYH

Rapana is injured. Hopefully Eseh and Watts to come in because Herman ( especially) and Knight could do with some reduced minutes.  Thought Martin looked a bit jaded on Sunday. Could maybe give him a break this week and move Briscoe back to the wing and Zak back to centre.

Ashworth looked poor on sunday so I'd start with hardaker and chamberlain 2nd row and use ashworth off the bench as a prop/2nd row (If needed) rotation with aydin and eseh

Thought Martin looked a bit below par last few matches.....Bound to get a dip as still only young ....Maybe at weekend against Huddersfield he might get one or two running chances .....All a learning curve 

Worth starting Balmforth to give Borouh a bit of a rest too? 

Think the dip has been inevitable due to the long minutes many of the squad have played with the injury situation. The week off can't come soon enough for us really and we desperately need some bodies back particularly 2nd row.


Quite how Herman and Knight have done minutes they have is probably testament to the improved standards in fitness and attitude in Cartwright.

Would be great to get a morale boosting win after a difficult month. Getting back into positive PD would be the cherry on the cake

I would definitely start with herman on the bench assuming he is fit to play to give him a bit of a break and if the game goes well play him as little as we can.  Knight to a lesser extent as he hasn't played as many games as herman

I think Clune's back for the Giants according to the commentary from their last game .
Still a tough game and I hope Carty will be installing that into the players but should be favorites for the 2 points.

We just need to concentrate on getting the two points thinking bout resting players and hammering Huddersfield we will take our eye off the ball and we will get punished. We've got next week off so play Amir and Martin but I do agree on Martin he needs a breather soon if Rapana is fit i would leave him out this week and play Briscoe on the wing, Ese'ese, Knight and Amir are playing too long we need to use bench better.
