MR, I was told yesterday that Lama has already signed for Saints for next season. I'm not one to start rumours but the guy that told me is very friendly with a number of people within the club. I hope to god he's wrong but I have no valid reason to doubt him. Lama would be a massive loss because he's the sort of prop we should be building our pack around. If he was to leave I'd hope he'd return to the NRL as that's what his talent.deserves.

I hope I'm wrong.

I thought the first 20 we were disappointing going forward, we gifted Wigan the majority of their possession by conceding silly penalties. However even during this spell our defence was fantastic and it was only from a lucky play which Wigan capitalised on that they went over the sticks. When can you ever remember a Wigan side, 6-0 up with only 15 minutes played getting a penalty right in front of the sticks and opting to the take the 2 points? That was the biggest compliment they could have paid to our defence. Second 20 of the first half we were brilliant, we finally got going forward, used the ball well and forced the errors in the Wigan half.

Second half was as dominant as it gets, as others have said we really should have scored more and would have if it wasn't for the lightening speed amongst Wigan's backline.

Yesterday was the vision by Koukash, beating Wigan to go 3rd infront of a big crowd (erm no chance there were only 6.5k in there, you could never have put another 6k in that stadium) long may it continue.
