So my source got back to me with some names on the Sam Lisone replacement nothing in concrete yet and no offers have been made I believe but was told these 6 names specifically at who the club are looking at.
Royce Hunt (29 years old, contracted til 2027)
Braden Hamlin-Uele (30, contract til 2026)
Jacob Alick-Wiencke (25, off contract in 2025)
Jack Hethrington (29, off contract in 2025)
Bunty Afoa (28, off contract in 2025)
Tom Ale (26, off contract in 2025)
The club obviously have a lot a room regarding quota spots with the expansion confirmed for the next 2 seasons and seem to want to replace Lisone with another overseas prop, the club still seeing what could become available in Super League as well but I can't see many options over here tbf. Personally would think it would be great if we made a play for Caius Faatili from Wakey as I think he's shown he can be a devastating prop and is young and proven in Super League but he's just signed an extension with them so can't see that happening at all.
They sacked Musgrove, which will have created some room on the cap, but enough for 3 top line players? Can only admire their ambition I suppose, if not their success.
