I believe we have made 2 new signings.

One is a second rower called hock and will be available to play in 2 weeks.

The other is some kind of prop forward. Fielden i think his name is, he will be available to play in about 4 weeks.

They cannot come soon enough

Should add some much needed weight up top. And a bit of grunt

Bit of a let down but can't wait for the return of Stu and Gaz

Big Time. Hope to God he's back for Friday. If he's not we have to bring in Crosby for Tuson, we NEED 4 props especially going up against the likes of Graham and Puletua.

Was alot of talk on here pre season that with Hoffman and Lima coming nobody would have the strength that Wigan had and you could cope with anything is that not the case?

Alot of hopes being pinned on Hock it could take weeks for him to get upto speed of the game.

i do hope you are correct. and i do hope he is fit.

FAR, far too many times we have rushed players back for big games & its cost us...

The point is Wigan have not yet had their full strength pack playing this season. With the return of Fielden, we can perm any 4 props from Coley, Mossop, Prescott, Lima and Fielden. With the return of Hock we have a mouthwatering back row of Hoffman, Hock and Lockers, with back up from Hansen, Farrell and maybe Joel or Tuson. Even with a couple of injuries the pack is going to be so much stronger than it has been so far this season.

Hopefully just starting to really hit their straps on 23rd July.....!
